FINANCIAL AWARDS:

  • International: New Conversation Award: (British Council, Canadian High Commission/UK and Farnham Maltings.) To mentor the Lyth Arts Centre in North Scotland on the creation of a Women’s Room North modelled after Pat the Dog Theatre Creation’s Women’s Room (since 2015 in Kitchener/runs annually). Awarded 2019.
  • National: Sectoral Innovation and Development Award (Canada Council) For Regional Women Lead, a grassroots approach to gender-parity for Canadian women in theatre.  $96,000/2-years.  Awarded 2019. National Partners:  Playwrights Canada Press, National Arts Centre (Ottawa), Directors Lab North (Toronto).
  • Provincial: Back-to-Back Provincewide Awards (Ontario Trillium Foundation/OTF) $231,000/3-years (2010-2013) + $235,000/3-years (2014-16) for programming throughout ON. First mid-sized arts organization in ON to receive back-to-back prestigious Provincewide awards.  NOTE: The Provincewide Program is determined by the OTF Board of Directors.  Recognition and receipt of this award is extremely competitive and very prestigious.
