Pat the Dog continues its popular Piece/Meal reading series, now in its 3rd year, with new work from our vibrant playwrights and some tasty food pairings to go along with them.

Our popular Piece/Meal reading series returns with four new, full-length theatre pieces. All of the pieces came out of our playwright centre, where we’ve been cooking up everything from beautiful prose to dabbling in the world of physical theatre and movement. Our reading series offers up something for everyone, so take a little taste-test of what Pat the Dog’s playwrights are serving up. And, quite literally, unique food pairings will be served with each reading.

We’re thrilled to bring back this series year after year, since it offers our playwrights a platform to workshop and hear their pieces with live audience, live actors.  Constructive feedback, positive encouragement, and validation of their craft goes a long way. (And yes, the good food doesn’t hurt either.)

This project is made possible in part by the generous support of the The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. (big thank you!).
